What is ENERGISE FUEL?

Energise FUEL is a nutrition-focused coaching service designed to improve your body, training performance and long-term health – through a practical, evolving approach to nutrition.

Instead of just dishing out a fixed meal plan that becomes outdated in no time, I build a tailored nutritional setup based around foods you enjoy, to fuel your lifestyle, activity levels and goals, and then I adjust that approach over time as your body adapts.

The aim isn’t to simply eat less calories or follow rigid rules. It’s to eat appropriately for where you are right now, and evolve that intake as your needs change.

Fat loss within Energise FUEL is treated as a managed, evolving process rather than a fixed dietary prescription.

An initial intake is set to support training, recovery and day-to-day function while allowing fat loss to occur.

Progress is monitored through daily check-ins, with decisions made on a weekly basis. Adjustments are driven by how the body is responding in practice, not by arbitrary calorie reductions.

This approach keeps intake as high as possible for the individual at that stage, preserving metabolic function, maintaining lean tissue and avoiding the gradual erosion caused by continual under-eating.

As body composition changes, the approach is refined to maintain progress without unnecessary restriction.

Muscle gain is driven by progressive strength increases, and strength increases are supported by appropriate increases in food intake.

With Energise FUEL, nutrition is structured to support training progression first. Intake is set at a level that allows strength to increase session to session while remaining comfortable and sustainable.

Daily check-ins provide ongoing feedback, with weekly reviews used to assess whether increases in food intake are translating into improved training output and recovery.

Food is only increased when it is earning its place through performance and accrued muscle tissue. As strength improves and training demands rise, intake is evolved to support continued progress, creating the conditions for muscle gain without unnecessary fat gain or forced eating.

 

Sports performance is supported through a structured, periodised approach to nutrition that reflects training load, competition demands and recovery requirements.

With Energise FUEL, intake is aligned to the demands of the training week and competitive calendar.

Daily check-ins give valuable insight and allow for weekly adjustments as training cycles change. This may include higher carbohydrate intake around key sessions, targeted carbohydrate loading for events, and moderated intake during lighter training phases.

The objective is consistent energy availability, effective recovery between sessions, and a nutrition strategy that supports performance output across the season rather than peaking briefly and fading.

Many people feel flat, tired and inconsistent, not because they’re eating too much or too little, but because the quality of their intake is very poor.

Energise FUEL helps people move away from a diet dominated by ultra-processed foods, towards a more nutrient-dense, largely unprocessed way of eating.

The emphasis is on improving food quality in a way that’s realistic and sustainable, not perfect.

An 80/20 (ish) approach allows room for flexibility, social occasions and the occasional treat, without those foods becoming the foundation of the diet.

As intake quality improves, energy levels, recovery, digestion and consistency tend to improve alongside it.

From there, nutrition can be adjusted and evolved as goals change, whether that’s fat loss, performance or simply feeling better day to day.

I must emphasise from the outset, I am not a nutritionist or a dietician, nor do I need to be to deliver this service.
If you have food allergies, diagnosed gut conditions, medical illnesses or health issues that may be directly affected by dietary intake, then working with a qualified nutritionist or dietician is absolutely the right option, and I will always be open and honest about that.
And that’s where Energise FUEL comes in.
You get to work with a coach that’s been helping people with their nutritional intake for 35 years, at a fraction of the cost of working with a nutritionist or dietician.

How does Energise FUEL work?

Energise FUEL starts with a consultation so I can understand your current eating habits, food preferences, training demands, lifestyle, stress levels and previous dieting history.

From there, I’ll design an initial nutrition setup based around foods you enjoy, with amounts that are appropriate for you at that time. This isn’t a rigid plan, it’s merely establishing a realistic starting point.

You’ll then check in briefly on a daily basis for accountability (a 2 minute process via the Energise coaching app), with your nutrition reviewed and adjusted each week based on progress and feedback. As your body adapts, your nutritional intake evolves alongside it.

What you start with is not where you stay.

Energise FUEL can be as hands-on as you need it to be.

Through the Energise coaching app, we can manage your nutrition in a flexible, sustainable way. Whether your lifestyle is structured or unpredictable, your nutrition setup can be adjusted to suit real life events, not forcing you into an unrealistic routine.

Nothing is fixed. Nothing is dogmatic. The focus is consistency and progress over time. And I will teach you coping mechanisms and strategies to work around planned/unplanned events.

Using GLP-1 medications?

GLP-1 medications for appetite suppression and weight loss can be a useful tool for some people, but they don’t remove the need for appropriate nutritional intake.

Whether someone is currently using GLP-1 medication or planning to come off it in the future, nutrition remains critical for maintaining lean tissue, supporting training, and ensuring the body is in a healthy place once the medication is removed.

Energise FUEL supports a sensible nutritional approach alongside these medications where appropriate, and just as importantly, helps people transition away from them successfully when the time is right maintaining their weight-loss results.

We get your nutrition dialled in first, once that’s working effectively, we can look at supplementation where appropriate – think of it as the proverbial icing on the cake, not the cake itself!

No. Energise FUEL most definitely is NOT a fixed meal plan or a list of foods you’re expected to follow forever. It’s an evolving nutritional setup based around foods you enjoy, your lifestyle and your activity/performance goals, with ongoing adjustments as required.

After an in-depth consultation, your nutritional set-up is designed bespoke for you, utilising foods you enjoy and with portions that are appropriate for your body composition, activity levels and goals at that time. As your body adapts, training changes or lifestyle shifts, the amount of calories consumed is adjusted. The structure is built in from the start and refined over time.

As hands-on as you need it to be. You’ll check in briefly daily for accountability, with your nutrition reviewed and adjusted each week based on progress and feedback.

Yes. Energise FUEL is perfect for people who train and want their nutrition to support performance, recovery and body composition.

We bend and flex with life. Work, travel, stress, social events and training phases all change. Your nutrition setup is adjusted around your life, not the other way round. I will teach you coping mechanisms and strategies to work around planned/unplanned events.

Yes. Nutritional intake actually becomes MORE important when using GLP-1 medication, particularly for maintaining lean tissue, supporting training and preparing for eventual removal of the medication. Energise FUEL helps ensure your intake is appropriate during use and supports a smoother transition when the medication is reduced or removed.

No. While many people use Energise FUEL alongside training, it’s equally suitable for improving health, energy levels and body composition without a formal training programme.

No, and that’s intentional. If you have food allergies, diagnosed gut conditions, medical illnesses or dietary needs that require clinical intervention, working with a qualified nutritionist or dietician is the best option. Energise FUEL is designed for people who want practical, sustainable nutrition support without over-complication and excessive financial outlay.

The price is £75 per month recurring payment until cancelled. There’s no fixed timeline. I do ask for a minimum of 3 months commitment (not money up front, just a verbal agreement) and 1 months notice when cancelling out of courtesy.

Some people use FUEL to establish strong foundations just for the three months and then leave - others stay longer for ongoing accountability and refinement. The aim is to build an approach that works for you long-term, not just short-term compliance.
