It was an honour to be invited in to Santander International this week to talk to their staff and management about physical and mental health and fitness.
The goal was to bring some much needed clarity and transparency to what can be an often overwhelming and frustrating topic.
It was great to see such a high level of engagement from those who attended, and special thanks to my three willing volunteers for getting involved.
I recently set up ‘Optimise’ – to run alongside my coaching company ‘Energise’.
The goal with ‘Optimise’ is to bring performance coaching to the corporate sector – working with staff, team leaders and managers via presentations and small group workshops.
The aim being to encourage bold, courageous leadership and develop much-needed resilience within the workplace.
It’s also very common to see professionals bury themselves in work, spend years climbing the corporate ladder, often to the detriment of their health and fitness.
With ‘Optimise’ my goal is to arm these men/women with the tools they need to enable them to continue chasing their career aspirations whilst attending to their health, fitness and physique needs in parallel.
I have to say, it was rather nice to get out of the tracksuit for a while and get the chance to speak to a wider audience – I’m excited about further opportunities like this in the not so distant future.
